Sailtrim Privacy Policy

Sailtrim is an interactive sailing education app provided by Oranda Studio. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Information stored on your device

Sailtrim saves preferences such as your light or dark mode choice and your UI language on your device so they remain available when you reopen the app. We do not receive these preferences. Your device’s backup settings may affect whether this local app data is included in a device backup.

Information collected by the app

Sailtrim does not require an account. The app does not collect or transmit your preferences, personal information, location, or sailing activity to Oranda Studio. It does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs.

Contacting us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request and manage related support correspondence. Our support mailbox is hosted by Oranda Studio. Please do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to explain your issue.

Sharing and security

We do not sell personal information or share your locally stored preferences with third parties. Support emails are available only to authorized Oranda Studio staff. We do not share support correspondence with advertisers or data brokers; we may disclose it if required by law. Access to our support email server is protected with two-factor authentication, and connections to it are encrypted.

Retention and deletion

You can remove locally stored app preferences through your device’s app settings or by uninstalling Sailtrim, subject to your device’s backup settings. We keep support correspondence for up to 12 months after the last exchange, then delete it, unless a longer period is required by law. You can request earlier deletion by emailing support@orandastudio.com; we will delete the correspondence unless we must retain it to meet a legal obligation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if Sailtrim’s features or data practices change. The current version will be available at this page with an updated effective date.
